Our Approach

Click on "The Experience" to read a more indepth description of who we are, how we operate and why. Here's the cliff notes version:

We're flexible, laid-back, and all about making your dream happen. We're very proud of our intimate, informal boutique. We're the kind of people who talk about our kids, wear mismatched socks accidentally to fittings too, understand the reality of wedding planning, and will shed a tear and share a smile and a hug if you want one. Quite often Kati is in yoga pants or scrubs due to her crazy life, plus she's found that fancy clothes get in the way of crawling on the floor to readjust a train. Levi is our jeans & tshirt guy running here, there & everywhere. Don't let our laid-back nature fool you, though -- we're very serious about what we do. Your day is important, and we take it very seriously. We're excited to make a beautiful memory with you!

Our Story

We began Wyoming Weddings Magazine in 2009, and that same year began producing bridal expos throughout Wyoming, adding to the list through the years. After working with Mountain Valley Bridal of Laramie for years on our Cheyenne and Laramie fashion shows, we were heartbroken in 2019 to hear they were closing. We knew Laramie & Wyoming needed more options for shopping, so we decided to dive into the adventure of running our own bridal & formal wear boutique. We officially were rolling in November 2019, and have loved the journey!

Meet the Team

We're a husband and wife team who make our kids get on stage for fashion shows ...

(...but we take them out to dinner afterward, so don't worry.)

Kati Hime

Bridal & Bridesmaid Fittings

I've been talking & writing about wedding fashion for years and love learning this industry. I was the DIY bride, wanting to dive into every element of planning. I take the same approach to entrepreneurship & life, a mixture of blessed & lucky. I'm blessed to be married to my soul mate for 20 years, together for 30. I'm blessed to have two beautiful children that are my priority A every day. I'm lucky in that I get to meet couples at wedding expos, help a bride find her dream gown, scan their babies in my ultrasound gig, have those babies in my dance classes as preschoolers & watch them celebrate their birthdays at our bounce house place. And if I'm *really* lucky, I'll get in an extra long run on a sunshine-filled day.

Levi Hime

Tux & Suit Fitting, Rentals & Sales

Levi was a little kid with a love of wearing something fancy as often as he could. His #1 request in his wedding to Kati in 2000 was a tux with tails. Dealing in men's formal attire has been a hope for quite a few years, and Levi enjoys meeting guys who have a detailed plan like his just as much as those who have absolutely no clue. Levi is a hydrogeologist and GIS analyst as a full-time gig, but his appointments can be flexible. He also is intricately involved in the daily events of his two children, serving as the math tutor, bear hug giver and master chef of the family. Levi's passions outside of work include landscape photography & videography, power lifting and he's a voracious consumer of podcasts, especially historical topics and Armchair Expert.

Our Kids: Autumn & Vaughn Hime

Our Reasons Why We Do Everything We Do ...

We talk about them all (ALLLLLLL) the time, so you may as well meet them! These two are our light & love every day. They're great kids, if we do say so ourselves (please excuse the buttons flying as we swell with pride here). They work hard and even agree to dress up and help out if we feed them something amazing afterwards. It wouldn't be a conversation if we don't mention them at least once somewhere.
